Ajit Jogi, first chief minister of Chhattisgarh, dies at 74 in Raipur

Former CM Ajit Jogi had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Raipur, Chhattisgarh after he suffered a cardiac arrest on May 9 of this year.

Chhattisgarh: Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh (Ajit Jogi) has passed away. At the age of 74, he breathed his last. Ajit Jogi had been admitted to Hospital after Cardiac Arrest. He was hospitalized since 9 May. Ajit Jogi was being breathed with the help of a ventilator. Since then, his brain activity was very low. Ajit Jogi’s condition was critical for a long time. Jogi was in a coma for almost 20 days. He had a cardiac arrest again late on Wednesday night. Then on Friday, his condition deteriorated again.
